Hartal extended till 6am Friday

The BNP-led 20-party alliance today extended its ongoing hartal till 6:00am Friday demanding immediate release of its leaders and activists arrested in “false cases”.
The announcement was made this afternoon through a press release floated to the media by BNP Joint Secretary General Salahuddin Ahmed.
The 20-party alliance enforced a 72-hour hartal since Sunday morning in protest against the alleged killings, tortures and arrests of alliance activists.
