The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) today decided to restrict the number of visitors at all hospitals amid the coronavirus outbreak.
The DGHS has sent letters to all healthcare centres, asking them to strictly follow the directive.
"We have decided to restrict visitors so that diseases cannot spread through them…Only one attendant will be allowed inside hospital with one patient," Dr Aminul Hasan, director (hospital) of DGHS told The Daily Star.
