Admission test results of 7 DU-affiliated colleges published; pass rate 67.9%

Dhaka University authorities have published the admission test results of its seven affiliated colleges, under Arts and Social Science Unit, with a pass rate of 67.9 percent.

DU Vice Chancellor Prof Md Akhtaruzzaman unveiled the results at the Registrar Building on the campus this noon.

As many as 14,382 candidates, out of 21,132 examinees, passed the exam against 11,905 seats.

The successful candidates will have to choose a preferred subject on the admission website -- between December 5 and 20.

The admission test was held on November 13.

Meanwhile, the DU authorities have also published the admission test results of Home Economics College.

The pass rate of the admission test is 81.06 percent (combined).

As many as 4,495 examinees, out of 5,545, passed the exam against 2655 seats.

The results can be viewed on the website -- collegeadmission.eis.du.ac.bd -- or via SMS.

For SMS notification of the result, a candidate will have to type "DU CHM <roll number>" and send it to 16321.
