Buet suspends in-person classes from Saturday

Due to the rise in Covid-19 infections, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (Buet) has suspended in-person classes from Saturday.

Due to the rise in Covid-19 infections, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (Buet) has suspended in-person classes from Saturday.

Starting from January 15, online classes will continue till further notice, said a press release today signed by Buet Registrar prof Dr Md Forkan Uddin.

However, no decision has been made yet over the closure of residential halls.

According to the decision, classes, class tests, and laboratory classes of all terms under July 2021 will be held online until further notice, the release said.

Earlier, Jahangirnagar University took decision of suspending in-person classes on January 5.
