Ctg teachers, students demand SUST VC’s resignation

Expressing solidarity with the movement of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology student's, some teachers and students of Chattogram today waged a demonstration demanding the resignation of SUST Vice-Chancellor (VC) Farid Uddin Ahmed.

The demonstration took place in the port city's Cheragi Pahar intersection around 4 pm, reports our Chattogram staff correspondent quoting the protesters.

Maidul Islam, a protestor and teacher of Chittagong University, said that the SUST VC should resign immediately otherwise they would go for tougher movement.

The protestors also demanded the withdrawal of the case filed against the protesting SUST students.

More than 40 teachers and students took part in the demonstration.
