DU restricts outsiders in dormitories ahead of Ducsu, hall polls

The Dhaka University authorities have imposed restrictions on outsiders and guests in student dormitories ahead of the Dhaka University Central Students' Union (Ducsu) and hall union elections.

In an official notification issued today, Chief Returning Officer Prof Mohammad Zashim Uddin said from today (September 2, 2025), no individual other than valid students of the university will be allowed to stay inside the halls.
