In-person classes, exams resume at Dhaka University

After over 18 months of long break due to Covid-19 pandemic, in-person classes and exams of Dhaka University resumed today.

After over 18 months of long break due to Covid-19 pandemic, in-person classes and exams of Dhaka University resumed today.

In-person classes and exams of several departments and institutes resumed from 8am today, reports our DU correspondent.

Prof Abu Md Delwar Hossain, dean of the Arts Faculty, said that all necessary preparations for resuming in-person classes and exams have been completed. Many classes and exams began at 8am, and they will continue until 5pm today.

"All students are complying with the health guidelines. We are also checking students' temperatures before they enter their classrooms," he said.

Al Hasan Munna, a master's student of Information Science and Library Management, said "After such a long wait, we are excited to be able to attend in-person classes and exams. It's wonderful to see everyone again."
