Lottery for govt school admissions deferred to Dec 12

Lottery for admissions to the government schools (metropolitan areas and district Sadar upazilas) across the country from classes 1 to 9 has been pushed back to December 12, the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) said today.

The information was made public through a circular yesterday signed by DSHE Deputy Director (Secondary) Mohammad Aziz Uddin.

The lottery will be held at International Language Institute in Dhaka.

Earlier, the DSHE set December 10 for central lottery for admission to all government schools and December 13 for non-government schools.
