Rajshahi University planning to hold admission tests in all divisions

Authorities of Rajshahi University are considering holding admission tests in all divisional cities, like Dhaka University did on October 1.

Rajshahi University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Golam Sabbir Sattar came up with the comment while visiting admission tests for the academic session 2020-2021 on the campus.

"We will discuss the matter at the meeting of the academic council. But it depends on the decision of the council," he said.

He said, the RU administration is also considering holding the tests under a cluster system next year if Dhaka University, Chittagong University, and Jahangirnagar University want to do that.

Dhaka University on October 1 held its admission tests in all divisional cities in the country for the first time. The exams were held from 11:00am to 12:30pm in eight public universities of those divisions.
