Bangladeshi Hafez Tawhidul secures 10th spot in Dubai Quran competition

Hafez Tawhidul Islam of Bangladesh secured 10th place in the 25th International Quran Competition held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Algeria's Abu Bakr has won the competition, which drew competitors from 70 countries.
Awards and certificates were presented to the winners by Dubai's Prince Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. He was the chief guest at the closing ceremony held at The Cultural and Scientific Association Hall in Dubai on Friday (April 15, 2022).
Tawhidul and other contestants had previously paid a courtesy visit to Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the vice-president of the United Arab Emirates and ruler of Dubai. He praised their participation and recitations at that time.
Khaled Al Zahid, a member of the organising committee, described Bangladesh as a strong participant country.
Hafez Tawhidul Islam is a student of Markazut Tahfiz International Cadet Madrasa in Dhaka.
