The battle of beats at ‘7 TO SMOKE’
Beatbox Bangladesh concluded their Beat Camp, powered by EMK Centre, with their beatbox battle '7 TO SMOKE' at the EMK Centre, recently. The workshop series started on July 25, 2019 in Dhaka and was followed by beatbox workshops in Cumilla and Chattogram.
The day started with a workshop conducted by Moktadir Dewan (BeatBaksho) and Ronesh Biswas (Han-X), founders of Beatbox Bangladesh. The main workshop activities included sound clarity, rhythm, metronome, vocal training on scales and notes, music composition, music theory and tips for beatboxing.
The battle '7 TO SMOKE' was held in two sessions. The winner for the first session was Lotifur Rahman Shawon, known as Berzerk and the second session was won by Khandaker Shams, known by his stage name, Beat Fizz
Established in 2014, Beatbox Bangladesh aims to not only promote positivity, creativity, and self-discovery through beatboxing, but also help provide platforms where beatboxers can show their skills both nationally and internationally. At their Beat Camp, aspiring beatboxers can come and refine their skills.
