CmoK brings home DOTA 2 AGL Cup

The DOTA 2 AGL Cup began on March 1 at the Auroral Gaming Lounge, Mohakhali, Dhaka with a game between FOR and Natki Bois. The tournament was hosted by Ahmed Sadaf, accomodating 10 teams in total. Most of the teams included players who had prior experience in playing LAN tournaments. Renowned players like Mohiuddin Rahman Sajol, Nabid PepEp, Mohammad Aiman Iqbal, Zunnun Iqbal, Rizvan Moin, Muhtasim Susmoy and many others participated in the tournament. Ahmed Sadaf, the only organiser of the tournament, stated that his primary goal for this event was to gather everyone together and give the new LAN players an opportunity to meet and play with the renowned players. He added that the major obstacle he faced while working for the tournament was the traffic jam of the city. Because of the traffic jam, the announced time for each match kept getting delayed. However, electricity and internet problems decreased, compared to previous years.
CmoK, one of the oldest teams of DOTA 2 Bangladesh, won the title after a long time defeating Natki Bois. The team starred CmoK_ Wolfsl34n3, CmoK_Nabid PepEp, CmoK_Lost-Rider, Dreamshock (standin) and CmoK_Zanbato. CmoK_ Wolfsl34n3 reflected on his team's victory. He said, "We had a great time playing together and made sure that we play staying in our comfort zone. CmoK_Lost-Rider had to play with an injured hand this time, along with me who just got out of a major medical surgery," he informed. "We came to the tournament without any confidence and were full of hope by the end." The organiser hopes to host two more tournaments this year.
