SINNERS

Who are we really, are we angels of the Lord?
Who are we really, are we angels of the Lord?
Are we saints and holy creatures in this devout world?
We really are not, are we? Committing sins and misdeeds,
We are liars and deceivers, cons and frauds.
We thrive on greed and prey on the weak.
We are all sinners, sinners through our ungodly deeds.
Even the one who look holiest and chaste of all,
lie and backbite, oblivious the sins within them crawl.
But the worst sin of all, one we are all guilt-ridden of no denying, no
dissenting, the unpleasant truth thereof.
Judging other people, when we are no different.
Hypocrites we are, whited sepulchers.
We are sinners, that's who we'll ever be
Sinners judging sinners, for sinning differently.
