Udayan Science Club organises 39th Science Carnival

This February marked the celebrations of the 39th Science Carnival, organised by the Udayan Science Club, at Udayan Higher Secondary School Dhaka. The club has been organising this carnival every year ever since its inception.

This February marked the celebrations of the 39th Science Carnival, organised by the Udayan Science Club, at Udayan Higher Secondary School Dhaka. The club has been organising this carnival every year ever since its inception. With the slogan, "Illuminate and innovate", it began on February 16 this year.  The Honourable VC of University of Dhaka, Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman, was present as the chief guest during the inauguration of the carnival. He regarded the carnival as a medium to connect students with the light of knowledge. Different Olympiads, quizzes, project exhibitions, chess tournaments, sudoku challenges and photography contests were a part of the event. More than 2000 participants from 35 renowned institutions took part in it.

Dr Umme Salema Begum, Pricipal, Udayan Higher Secondary School Dhaka, spoke at the carnival.  "I am very proud of the students and teachers who worked hard to make this event a massive success. I hope everyone gained valuable knowledge and experiences from this programme," she said.
 

Mohammad Jubayer, President, Udayan Science Club also shared his thoughts.  ""The three-day carnival was a tremendous success due to the large number of participants. We are proud to organise this event every year in search of innovation and ingenuity," he said. "We will always try to bring out the best in students who take part in our events."

The carnival ended on February 18 with a ceremony for the winners of the different contests and events.
