”Lakho Konthe Bidrohi Kobita”

"Lakho Konthe Bidrohi Kobita”, a cultural initiative organised by BaNshori and Bangladesh National Cadet Corps took place on May Day at the gymnasium grounds of Dhaka University. Thousands of youths gathered on the field to recite Kazi Nazrul Islam's poem "Bidrohi” in unison.

The Minister of Information, Hasanul Haq Inu, who attended as the chief guest of the event, greatly appreciated the undertaking, stating: ”I dream of a victorious nation, a patriotic nation, where every citizen is a soldier defending his land with love. I would like to see a great future ahead where today's youths are tomorrow's leaders.” He further declared that the initiative was in line with the visions revolutionaries shared for the future of Bangalees throughout history.

Special guest AAMS Arefin Siddique, along with organising members Chairperson of BNCC Brig Gen SM Ferdous and president of BaNshori Khalequzzaman, delivered speeches at the event.

The event saw a turnout of 20,000 participants from various academic institutions under BNCC, and was featured live on ATN Bangla and ATN News on Monday.
