Logo of “Colours of Chittagong” unveiled

To project the culture, lifestyle and heritage of Chittagong, BD Next, a youth platform, will organise a programme titled “Colours of Chittagong” at Hall-24, a convention hall in the city, on June 15.

Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) Mayor AJM Nasir Uddin and Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mezba Uddin unveiled the programme's logo in the presence of eminent personalities, cultural activists and fashion designers of the city at the auditorium of District Shilpakala Academy on Sunday.

The Daily Star is the media partner of the programme.

The programme will feature cuisine, cultural show, indigenous culture and a fashion show. At the programme, DC Mezba Uddin said that Chittagong has much to be proud of and these facets should be projected.

"The city will go forward, with the endeavour of the youth," said mayor AJM Nasir Uddin.

Eminent artiste Ahmed Nawaz and famed photographer Shoeb Faruquee were present among others at the programme.
