Celebration of Bharatanatyam by Leela Samson and Spanda

Bharatanatyam exponent Leela Samson and her dance troupe Spanda graced the stage tonight at the National Auditorium of the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy to mark the beginning of the three day long Bharatanatyam festival “Roop Bahulya”.
They presented an exquisite array of solo, duet and group performances, accompanied by an outstanding arrangement of live Carnatic musicians.
The festival, organised by Shadhona and Srishti Cultural Center, in association with Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, and supported by Charuta and Kazi & Kazi Tea, will continue at the main auditorium of the Bangladesh National Museum for the next two days.
