Nashid Kamal launches 'The Return of Laili II'

“The Return of Laili II”, a translation book of Kazi Nazrul Islam's selected songs by Professor Nashid Kamal, was unveiled at Athena Gallery of Fine Arts in the capital on March 15 evening. 

Justice Dr. Syed Rafaat Ahmed chaired the inauguration ceremony. A host of distinguished guests including Professor Husne J. Alam, Professor Haroonuzzaman, Syed Zakir Hussain of Adron Publicaitons, Poet Rummana Chowdhury, Poet Samira Abbasi and noted singer Chanchal Khan spoke at the launching ceremony.  

In addition to book launching, the event also featured a musical performance by popular singer Armeen Musa.
