RUNA-KALYAN'S “HOLIDAY” ON CHANNEL I TODAY
Shahriar Nazim Joy's telefilm “Holiday”, which was shot in Nepal just a day before the nightmarish earthquake shook Nepal and the entire region, will air on Channel i today at 2:30pm.
Runa Khan and Kalyan Corraya flew to Nepal to shoot three plays and telefilms but had to return after finishing “Holiday” because of the tremor. They were trapped in Kathmandu for a couple of days as the communication system was severely disrupted at the time. The telefilm is shot in Dhulikhel Nepal.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. About her experience of shooting in Nepal, Runa Khan said, “We shot the telefilm from April 22-24. The next day we faced the nightmarish tremor. It is my first work with Joy bhai. I am grateful to him for giving me such a good role.”
Kalyan said, “There are memories associated with this telefilm. I can still relieve the horror. I hope the audience will
like our work.”
The telefilm is the love story of a married couple.
