Talented young singer Armeen Musa released her new album, “Simultaneously”, at the stroke of midnight today. The album, containing eight English songs and two Bangla tracks, is available on her web site -- armeenmusa.bandcamp.com, while it will also be available shortly in CD on online store Rokomari and online creative content sales portal Shurjorajjo. It was released under ME Label, a record label founded by Armeen herself.

Madonna premieres new music video – on Snapchat!

Social photo-messaging app Snapchat's new Discover feature is barely a week old, but it just got the platform's first big exclusive: Madonna's first music video from her new album just premiered on the company's own Discover channel. The video is directed by the French duo J.A.C.K., who have made commercials for brands like Converse and IKEA. The video was for the song “Living for Love”, the first single for the album “Rebel Heart” which was actually leaked before it was even announced back in December.

Jatiya Kobita Utshab concludes

With the theme “Jago Sambhabonaye Jago Kobitaye”, the 29th Jatiya Kobita Utshab (National Poetry Festival) concluded yesterday at Hakim Chattar, University of Dhaka. Renowned poet and ambidextrous litterateur Syed Shamsul Haq inaugurated the festival, organised by Jatiya Kobita Parishad (JKP). Poets and members of JKP placed wreaths at the graves of National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam, Shilpacharya Zainul Abedin, Patua Quamrul Hassan and the altar of Central Shaheed Minar.
