e-CAB polls end, 76.6% votes cast

Out of 795 voters, around 609 votes or 76.6 per cent of the total were cast, said AHM Bazlur Rahman, a member of the commission formed to hold the election.

The e-commerce entrepreneurs today voted for the first time since the inception of their trade body -- the e-Commerce Association of Bangladesh (e-CAB).

The pools started at around 10am and ended at 4pm.

A total of 31 candidates will be competing for nine posts for a two-year tenure.
