Sheba.xyz holds Service Award 2018
Sheba.xyz, a startup that provides various services through their app, organised Service Award 2018 for the first time in order to recognise the valuable contribution of the micro-entrepreneurs of the country.
The first of its kind award ceremony took place at Grameenphone’s head office GP HOUSE in Dhaka’s Bashundhara Residential Area on 29th September 2018, according to a press release issued in this regard.

This day long award show consisted of multiple segments where the first leg of the show focused on the development of the service providers whom Sheba.xyz caters to.
The event also acted as a platform through which prospective service providers could enlist their businesses into the Sheba.xyz platform. Eight different booths portraying eight different service categories of Sheba.xyz was set up, so that interested service providers could drop by and get to know the perks of joining.
The second leg of Service Award 2018 began with an insightful keynote presentation from Sheba.xyz CEO Adnan Imtiaz Halim. He went on to explain how the company started from humble beginnings and where it today. The service of Sheba.xyz will be available in all 64 districts of the country within a few months, Adnan also declared.
The attendees of the event were provided with goodie bags, gift hampers as well as light snacks – courtesy of the sponsors. Epyllion Group acted as the Gold Sponsor while IPDC, RANCON Electronics and Nitol Group were the raffle draw sponsors. Unilever Bangladesh provided Gift baskets and Fresh was the beverage partner. There were other renowned sponsors representing media, like Daily Star, ABC Radio (89.2 FM) and Channel 71. The award show also had a magnificent performance by Nokul Kumar Bisshash and his team; whose vibrant beats and lyrics kept everyone on their feet. There was also a raffle draw at the end of the session; where service providers and attendees got to win spectacular prizes.
Xyz’s very own Masud Reza, Kazi Mahboob Hasan, Grameenphone’s chief strategy and transformation officer, renowned corporate trainer G Sumdany Don, Reaz Uddin Al-Mamoon, managing director of Epyllion Group, CEO of Grameenphone Michael Foley and others talked during the program.
