Daraz and bKash partnered to enable SME sellers to use bKash for payment

Daraz Bangladesh and bKash have partnered to offer small and medium enterprises to run their business with Daraz through bKash merchant account. As a result, entrepreneurs from semi-urban, rural, and remote areas, can sell their products through Daraz and receive payment easily through bKash, without the need for a bank account. The joint initiative will help generate new entrepreneurs and accelerate the country's economic growth by reducing unemployment.

At present, more than 550,000 small and big merchants across the country are receiving payment through bKash, many of which are not listed on Daraz. By enabling bKash merchants to sign up as sellers on Daraz, the initiative provides an alternative transaction method and allows more sellers to do business with Daraz. This ultimately results in a wider variety of products and services available on the platform for customers.
