JCI Dhaka Eminent unveils new Executive Committee for 2025

The announcement was made during the organisation’s General Assembly on January 27 in Dhaka.  

Junior Chamber International (JCI) Dhaka Eminent has formed its new Executive Committee for the year 2025, marking a fresh chapter for the youth-led organisation.

Mounota Alam has been appointed as the Local President, leading the charge for the upcoming year. She will be supported by Ipsha Adiba and Md. Zia Ashraf, who will serve as Executive Vice Presidents (EVP). Md. Abdul Kader, the Immediate Past Local President (IPLP), will provide advisory support to the committee.  

The newly elected board includes - Farhana Mousumi and Homaira Chowdhury as Vice Presidents (VP), Abir Ahmed Khan as Secretary General (SG), and Sharmin Chattar Aboney as Treasurer. Md. Al Amin Rockey will serve as General Legal Counsel (GLC), while Md. Moshiur Rahman takes on the role of Local Committee Chair. Sikander Bappy has been appointed as Local Training Commissioner, and Habibur Rahaman Tonmoy and Dr. Shoshi will serve as Local Directors. Additionally, Md. Ashrafuzzaman has been named Executive Advisor to the Local President, and Md. Mahbub Ul Alam will act as Local ICT Advisor.  

The election process was conducted transparently under the supervision of Md. Tanveer Saad Akash, National Executive Vice President of JCI Bangladesh (2025), who served as the Election Commissioner. Prior to the announcement, the organisation also held its fourth General Members' Meeting (GMM) of 2024.  

In her inaugural statement, Mounota Alam emphasised her commitment to driving positive change. "We will dedicate our full efforts toward creating meaningful and sustainable development across the nation. Together, we aim to inspire and empower communities for a better tomorrow," she said.
