Wholesale Club, Bangladesh's only hypermarket, has expanded its range of imported goods with the addition of over 1,000 new products from globally recognised American retail chains, including Costco, Jetro, Sam's Club, and Bargain.
Located on Level -2 of Jamuna Future Park, South Asia's largest shopping mall, Wholesale Club spans more than 200,000 square feet and operates under a direct-import model. This approach allows Wholesale Club to oversee product sourcing and quality, distinguishing it from other retailers that depend on third-party vendors.
The store now offers more than 50,000 products across over 200 categories. Its inventory is structured into four main segments: Protein & Perishables, Food & Beverage, Bakery & Restaurant, and Non-Food Items. The recent shipment from the United States includes a wide array of food, skincare, and household brands.
In the Food & Beverage category, new additions include Evian, Kirkland, Nestlé, Lipton, Kellogg's, Member's Mark, Wesson, and Oreo. The Beauty & Skincare section now have products from Jergens, Aveeno, TRESemmé, and Dove. Household essentials such as Tide and Comet have also been added.
Wholesale Club operates seven days a week, offering a no-VAT pricing model, free parking, and a membership system that provides access to discounts and exclusive offers. The store aims to provide a high-volume, low-margin retail format consistent with international wholesale standards.
With its latest expansion, Wholesale Club strengthens its position as a key player in Bangladesh's evolving retail market by providing access to global brands under one roof.
