Vivo is starting to carve out a niche for itself as a flashy, affordable, colourful character in the world of black, glass slabs. The V15 has stand out features of a full notch-free display and a pop-up camera. It comes in a sparkling red gradient with microdots resembling stars. But can it be the star in this fiercely competitive market dominated by the likes of Xiaomi and Samsung’s A series?

Huawei's entry in the midrange market of Bangladesh was on the back of the widely acclaimed Y series and GR series. The Y series still caters to the entry-level midrange crowd now while Huawei launched another series to cater to the upper mid-range segment last year- the Nova series. Oppo is taking style quite seriously. The F9 comes in three colours and none of them are subtle. But enough about the notch for now. The phone that we are reviewing today is the F7, the latest entrant by the selfie-centric smartphone brand OPPO. The unit that we tested was 'Solar Red', the most sought out colour scheme on this device.

Another Hong Kong based Chinese mobile phone manufacturer that started off in 2006 & belonging to the Transsion holdings. For those who doesn’t know Transsion Holdings, they also own the Itel and Infinix brands latter of which we've reviewed previously. They started their journey formally in Bangladesh last month with the brand Tecno although Itel was operating before that. Transsion Holdings brand Tecno has been initially focusing exclusively on Africa and only recently made a foray into the Indian market with a barrage of new devices.

The GR3 for 2017 is known by a few other names under the Huawei banner based on where it is sold. Also known as a P8 Lite for 2017 and Honor 8 Lite.
