Bus kills one in Dhaka

A man was killed when a speeding bus hit a rickshaw carrying him at Malibagh in Dhaka this morning.

The accident took place when Motiur Rahman, 60, was taking his daughter Badhon, who studies at Jahangirnagar University, to a bus stand by a rickshaw around 6:30am, Rampura police told The Daily Star.

Badhon immediately took Motiur to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead.

Motiur was the owner of a clinic called Badhon in Khilgaon.
