Long queues for Eid tickets

Railway stations and bus counters are witnessing long queues of holidaymakers as sale of advance tickets of trains and buses begin across the country for the hassle-free Eid journey.

Railway stations and bus counters are witnessing long queues of holidaymakers as sale of advance tickets of trains and buses began across the country today for the hassle-free Eid journey.
The stations are thronged with holidaymakers, some of whom have been waiting since dawn.
Tickets of June 20 to 25 are available at the bus counters on the first day, Bangla daily Prothom Alo reports.
On the other hand, train tickets for June 21 are available today, according to private news agency UNB.

Each passenger will be able to buy maximum four tickets.
Around 30,000 tickets are made available than the normal day sale of train tickets, UNB reports quoting railway sources.
Tickets for June 22, 23, 24 and 25 will be available on June 13, 14, 15 and 16 respectively, UNB added.
Besides, the return tickets for the journeys of June 28, 29 and 30 will be available on June 19, and for June 29 and 30 and July 1 and 2 tickets will be available on June 20, 21, 22 and 23.
