Man dies as train hits him at Gendaria

A man died after he was hit by a train in Gendaria of Dhaka this morning.

The deceased is Hossain Mia, 60, a resident of Satish Sarkar Road area.

Locals said Hossain was hit by a train near Gendaria Rail Station.

He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital around 6:15 where he died after four hours, said Bachchu Miah, a sub-inspector of DMCH police camp.
