Man hacked to death in Dhaka

Unidentified criminals hacked a man to death in the capital's Mirpur yesterday. Arifur Rahman Belayet, 48, a medical technician at Farayezi Hospital in Banasree area, lived at East Monipur, said police.

Locals found the body in an alley at West Kazipara in the morning, said Mirpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge Dadon Fakir. It was sent for autopsy.
