No reason to be panicked during Eid holiday: Rab DG

Security measures have been taken, keeping in mind the possibility of all kinds of risks including the threat of militancy centering the upcoming Eid holidays, Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) Director General Benazir Ahmed says.

Security measures have been taken, keeping in mind the possibility of all kinds of risks including the threat of militancy centering the upcoming Eid holidays, Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) Director General Benazir Ahmed said today.  

“There is no reason to be panicked during this Eid as the suspected militants are under our surveillance,” the Rab DG said while visiting at the National Eidgah in the capital today.

Around 600 Eid Jamaats will be held during the day of Eid-ul-Azha in Dhaka, he said.
