3 killed in Ctg hill slide

Three people died as a portion of a hill collapsed while they were cutting the hill illegally in Rangunia Upazila of Chittagong today.

Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

A portion of mud from the hill collapsed around 3:00 pm when a group of 10 people were cutting hills in a remote area under Dakkshin Rajanagar union, Imtiaz Bhuiyan, officer-in-charge of Rangunia Police Station, told our local correspondent.

The local people recovered the bodies from the spot, he said.
