At least five workers sustain burn injuries as a fire broke out at an insecticide factory in Ashulia on the outskirts of Dhaka.
At least five workers sustained burn injuries as a fire broke out at an insecticide factory in Ashulia on the outskirts of Dhaka this evening.
The fire originated from an electric short circuit at Aronno Crop Care Ltd around 5:00pm and soon engulfed the whole factory, reports our Savar correspondent quoting Abdul Hamid, senior station officer of DEPZ fire service department.

On information, three fire fighting units rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire after an hour's effort, he added.
The injured were taken to a local clinic and the loss was estimated about Tk 50 lakh, said factory sources.
