Actor Saleh Ahmed passes away

Actor Saleh Ahmed passed away today at the age of 83.

He breathed his last at Apollo Hospitals in Dhaka around 2:33pm, Rownak Hasan, joint general secretary of Abhinay Shilpi Shangha, told The Daily Star Online.

The actor was suffering from different old-age complications for a long time, he said.

Saleh Ahmed was born in Sariakandi of Bogura. He started his acting career through Humayun Ahmed films and dramas from 1991.  He had also received Independence Award for his work.

Alongside acting, he worked at the Department of Public Health Engineering.
