‘Germany, Malaysia, Austria to invest $9.2 billion’

Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal says that Germany, Malaysia and Austria is going to invest $9.2 billion in different development projects in Bangladesh.

Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal today said that Germany, Malaysia and Austria will invest $9.2 billion in different development projects in Bangladesh.

Germany will invest $8 billion in power sector while Malaysia and Austria $1.2 billion, the minister said at a press conference at National Economic Council (NEC) conference room in Dhaka’s Sher-e-Bangla Nagar.

The government will create a business-friendly environment to attract the foreign investors, he said.
