N’ganj SI closed for taking bribe

A sub-inspector of Araihazar Police Station in Narayanganj has been closed to the district police lines on charges of taking bribe.

SI Qazi Rakib was closed from Gopaldi Investigation Centre last night as per the order from Superintendent of Police Mainul Haque, said Officer-in-Charge MA Huq of Araihazar Police Station.

There are multiple allegations of taking bribe against Rakib, the OC told our local correspondent.
