Power generation crosses 10,000MW milestone: PDB

Bangladesh’s actual power generation today crossed the milestone of 10,000-megawatt, as the government’s efforts to ensure electricity for all are bearing fruit.

Monday’s power generation was 10,084MW, according to Saiful Hasan Chowdhury, director for public relations at the Bangladesh Power Development Board. 

“This is the highest power generation in Bangladesh’s history,” he added.
