Sirajganj land office set afire

Miscreants torched a land office in Ullapara upazila of Sirajganj early Saturday.

Valuable documents were burnt in the fire, said Ullapara Uapzila Nirbahi Officer Mohammad Shamim Alam.

On information, two firefighting units rushed in and put out the flame after one hour of frantic efforts.

However, no one was arrested in this connection.

Billal Hossain, deputy commissioner of Sirajganj, visited the spot in the morning.
