The 135th Tirodhan Dibosh (death anniversary) of mystic bard Fakir Lalon Shah was observed in Munshiganj on Friday evening through a colourful cultural event organised by the district administration.

The programme, held at the District Shilpakala Academy auditorium in the town's Kachari area, featured soulful renditions of Lalon's timeless songs and dance performances by child artistes inspired by his spiritual philosophy.

Presided over by Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Muhammad Musabberul Islam, the event drew a large audience of music lovers, cultural activists, and students who gathered to pay tribute to the legendary Baul saint known for his messages of humanity, equality, and harmony beyond caste or creed.
