41st Jatiya Rabindra Sangeet Sammelan kicks-off tomorrow
The 41st Jatiya Rabindra Sangeet Sammelan is all set to start this Thursday. This year's theme is 'Tumi Nobo Nobo Rup a Asho Prane'. The three-day long event will be inaugurated by noted artiste Mustafa Monwar at the main auditorium of the National Theatre Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy around 4 pm on Thursday.
This time, the programme will begin with a plethora of musical performances, recitals and dance portrayals by over 500 aritistes from all 72 branches of the Parishad.
Additionally, a seminar and discussion will take place on the second day of the event. The vice chancellor of Rabindra University Bangladesh, Dr Shah Azam, and Azizur Rahman will be participating in the discussion.
The third day will honour noted musician and academic, Anupam Sen, who will be the chief guest at the event. Moreover, noted cultural personality Syed Hasan Imam as well as the Tagore enthusiast and educationist Dr ABM Nurul Anwar will be awarded with the Rabindra Padak on the final day.
