Anuswar stages seriocomedy ‘Buddhijibir Bashay Shoytan’

Dhaka's theatre troupe Anuswar recently brought a fresh dose of satire to the stage with "Buddhijibir Bashay Shoytan", a seriocomedy directed by veteran theatre activist, playwright, and actor Mohammad Bari.

The production was performed at Anuswar Studio, Pioneer Road, Shegunbagicha, on September 19 and 20, with back-to-back shows at 5pm and 7:30pm.

Featuring an ensemble cast – Saif Suman, Marina Mitu, Mazedul Mithu, Nurujjaman Sarker, and Muthmainnah Rima – the play kept audiences engaged across both evenings, blending humour and social commentary in true seriocomic style.
