Directed by emerging filmmaker Rakayet Rabby, "Gerakol" draws inspiration from real-life events around him. "The story itself isn't entirely unfamiliar," he explains, "but I've tried to present it from a different perspective. Life is full of incidents—some we can talk about, others we cannot. Yet, their impact lingers forever. 'Gerakol' is based on one such event, reflecting on student life and the years that follow. I hope audiences will find it engaging."

A mystery-thriller at its core, the story revolves around three characters — Rimi, Anik, and Moshtak. During a holiday trip, Rimi and Anik meet Moshtak, an artist. As they come closer, cracks begin to form in Rimi and Onik's relationship. But how real are these relationships? Is everything as it seems? To find out, viewers will have to watch "Gerakol", which premieres on Chorki at 12:01 AM on October 16.

Samira Khan Mahi stars as Rimi, while Abu Hurayra Tanvir and Intekhab Dinar play Onik and Moshtak respectively.

Actress Sushama Sarker appears as Moshtak's wife, alongside Humaira Snigdha, Shihab, and Sadi Shuvo.
