HBO Max launches in Bangladesh

Bangladeshi subscribers can choose between two plans: the Standard package ($4.99/month) and Premium ($7.49/month), offering Full HD and 4K streaming options. Subscriptions are available via www.hbomax.com, Apple App Store, and Google Play Store.

HBO Max, the flagship streaming platform from Warner Bros Discovery, is now officially available in Bangladesh. Alongside 14 other new markets, including Cambodia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Ukraine, the service launched today, bringing a vast library of premium entertainment to local audiences.

Subscribers can now enjoy hit series such as "Game of Thrones", "House of the Dragon", "The Last of Us", and "The Penguin", as well as blockbuster films like "Superman", "A Minecraft Movie", and the complete "Harry Potter" and "The Lord of the Rings" collections. Popular Discovery titles like "Deadliest Catch" and "Gold Rush", plus family favourites "Tom and Jerry" and "Looney Tunes", are also available. Iconic sitcoms "Friends" and "The Big Bang Theory" will join the platform in January 2026.

The platform will premiere "IT: Welcome to Derry" on October 27, expanding the Stephen King universe, and upcoming releases include "M3GAN 2.0" and "Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning".
