One dies of dengue, 665 get hospitalised

One dengue patient died while 665 others were hospitalised in the last 24 hours till yesterday morning.

With the latest figures, the total number of dengue-related deaths this year has risen to 156 while the number of reported cases has reached 39,192, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Of the total infected, 37,180 dengue patients have so far been released from hospitals.  Currently, 1,856 dengue patients are undergoing treatment at different hospitals, 1,145 of whom are from outside Dhaka.
