AL will rule as long as Hasina alive: Hanif

Bangladesh Awami League will rule as long as Sheikh Hasina is alive and active, the party’s Joint General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif said today.

"As long as Sheikh Hasina is alive and able to work, Bangladesh Awami league will remain in power under her leadership," Hanif said at the annual conference of Dhaka (south) city unit Bangladesh Chhatra League in Dhaka.

"No evil force has the ability to oust her (Hasina) and grab the power in Bangladesh," he said.

He also urged the party men to be united against any conspiracies of the "evil forces".
