BNP to form human chain across the country on Monday, stage sit-in on Tuesday and observe hunger strike on Thursday demanding unconditional release of its Chairperson Khaleda Zia, who is now in jail in connection with Zia Orphanage Trust corruption case.
BNP will form human chain across the country on Monday demanding unconditional release of its Chairperson Khaleda Zia, who is now in jail in connection with Zia Orphanage Trust corruption case.
Leaders and activists of the party and it different front and associate bodies will also stage sit-in programme on Tuesday and observe hunger strike on Thursday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm to press home their demand.
BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Rizvi Ahmed made the announcement at a press conference at the party's Nayapaltan central office in Dhaka this afternoon.

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia landed in jail on Thursday, after she was handed a five-year imprisonment for misappropriating a donation fund of Zia Orphanage Trust.
