By-polls to Ershad's constituency Oct 5

By-polls to Rangpur-3 constituency which was left vacant after the death of Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad, will be held on October 5.

Voting will start from 9:00am and will continue till 5:00pm on that day, Additional Secretary of the Election Commission Mohammad Mokhlesur Rahman said at a press briefing held at the media centre of the EC.

The last day for submission of the nomination papers is September 9 and scrutiny of nomination papers will be held on September 11, the official said.

The last day for withdrawal of the nomination form is September 16.
