8:45pm- Awami League mayoral candidate Liton wins in RCC polls by big margin, claims AL Rajshahi unit Organising Secretary Nurul Islam Sarker

5:30pm- Liton holds press conference

4:00pm- Vote counting begins in all the polling stations.

1:30pm- BNP's mayor candidate for Rajshahi City Corporation, Mosaddek Hossain Bulbul refuses to cast vote.

8:37am- AL Mayor candidate Liton casts vote in RCC polls and expresses hope for landslide victory.

8:00am- Voting begins
