Bangladesh upped the ante on their defence of the AFC U-14 Girls Regional Championship, defeating Nepal by a crushing 9-0 margin and emerging Group B champions at the Aviator Stadium in Dushanbe, Tajikistan on April 28, 2016.
In their first match of the campaign on Tuesday they defeated India 3-1, with Tahura scoring two goals. She repeated the feat against Nepal, but it was captain Marzia and Anuching Mogini, who each struck a hattrick, who were the chief architects of the drubbing.
Having emerged as the group winners, Bangladesh will play the runners-up of Group A on April 30.
