Fahad remains on top

International Master Fahad Rahman maintained his solo lead in Hanoi Grandmaster Chess Tournament-2 after beating WGM Vo Thi Kim Phung and drawing against CM Wong Zhenyong Jayden in Vietnam yesterday.

Fahad, who on Tuesday beat two GMs, secured five points from six matches to stay on top of the table.

Fahad played with white pieces in Queen's Indian Dec system against WGM Phung of Vietnam after 62 moves in the fifth round before drawing against Singapore's CM Zhenyong Jayden after 61 moves.
